🛠️ How We Install Your Custom Countertops
Step 1: Design Consultation and Material Selection
This step is where your vision is translated into a technical plan.
• Initial Consultation: We begin with a free consultation—either in your home or virtually—to discuss your budget, material preferences (Quartz, Granite, Marble, or Solid Surface), and design goals.
• Material Selection: You will choose your specific material, color, and finish. For natural stone like Granite, you may be required to view and approve the exact slab at one of our Houston-area distributors.
• Contract Finalization: We provide a transparent, all-inclusive quote covering materials, fabrication, and installation, which is finalized before moving to the next step.
Step 2: Templating and Measurement
Precision is paramount in this stage to ensure your finished countertop fits your unique space perfectly.
• Scheduling: We schedule an appointment for templating at your home, typically within 1-2 days of contract finalization.
•: Our certified technicians capture the exact dimensions, angles, and features of your existing cabinetry.
• Cutout Specifications: We confirm all sink, faucet, cooktop, and electrical outlet cutouts, along with your chosen edge profile (e.g., eased, bevel, or ogee).
• Confirmation: The template serves as the final blueprint. Once approved, the template data is sent directly to our fabrication shop.
Step 3: Custom Fabrication in Our Shop
This is where your chosen material is transformed into your custom countertop.
• Slab Layout: Our fabricators use the template to precisely map out the cuts on your chosen slab(s), maximizing the material's pattern and minimizing seams.
• Finishing: All edges are profiled and polished to your exact specification. The sink and faucet cutouts are prepared, ensuring a perfectly smooth finish.
• Quality Control: Each piece undergoes inspection before being carefully loaded for transport to your home.
Step 4: Professional Installation and Final Sealing
The final phase is the efficient installation and handover of your new countertops.
• Prep and Arrival: We coordinate an installation date. Our team handles the safe demolition and removal of your existing countertops (if needed) and ensures the workspace is protected.
• Setting the Tops: The fabricated pieces are meticulously set into place, leveled, and permanently secured to your cabinetry.
• Seaming and Sinks: If seams are required, they are bonded, polished, industry-leading epoxy techniques. The sink is mounted, and the faucet holes are prepared.
• Sealing (Granite Only): If you chose Granite, the surfaces are professionally cleaned and sealed.
• Final Review: We walk through the completed project with you to ensure your total satisfaction and provide maintenance instructions and warranty details.
