Work Order Contract
I hereby authorize SIMPLY SOLID SURFACE (SSS) and its affiliates to furnish all necessary materials, labor workmanship (sub contractors if necessary) to fabricate and install the countertop improvements described in the invoice # _____________

All prices stated are subject to change upon field verification and templating. Quoted prices reflect cash/check discount. If paying pay credit card add 3% to total price. All price changes will be discussed and agreed upon with homeowner before work is started. If contract is cancelled before work has begun, deposit will be refunded less $250.00 admin/templating fee plus any material restocking fee and or delivery fee if applicable. Once fabrication has begun, contract cannot be cancelled and the total invoice amount is due. All work is completed in a timely manner (generally 2 to 4 weeks depending on work load). SSS is not responsible for delays caused by bad weather, material defects, strikes, supplier shortage, or acts of God. The contract may be terminated by SSS at any time; all money received will be refunded. SSS does not engage in any type of additional carpentry, trimming, painting, cabinet leveling, plumbing or electrical work. SSS is not responsible for connecting or disconnecting appliances or plumbing. If customer wants SSS to disconnect appliances or plumbing as a courtesy during tear out, the customer agrees SSS will not be responsible for any damages, or loss, which may occur to pipes, fixtures, parts, cabinets, floors, wall etc... Touch up painting or trim on cabinet and walls may be required after installation at homeowner’s expense. SSS is not responsible for any damage to wall paint or wall paper during tear out or installation. Appliances and or mirrors may need to be removed and replaced for the installation; this is the homeowners’ responsibility. If appliance/mirror removal is required during the installation of the countertops, and the homeowner is unable to move the appliance/mirror, SSS will not responsible for any damage, which may occur to the appliance/mirror upon the removal or reinstallation. If homeowner wants to try to save backsplash, SSS will do its best to ensure the tile stays in place during tear out. However we cannot guarantee that the tile will not break, chip or fall off the wall. Client understands that SSS is not responsible for this damage. SSS will not be responsible for re grouting and repairing or replacing any tile damage that may occur. If SSS is providing LABOR ONLY for tile backsplash, it is the homeowners responsibility to supply tile, grout, mastic, sealer and any other materials needed to complete the backsplash. If Electrical outlets need to be moved to accommodate countertops or backsplash this is the responsibility of the homeowner. All sinks, cook tops and faucets must be available on the day of installation, if install cannot be completed a trip charge will be assessed. If no template is available and installers have to free hand the cut out, the homeowner understands and accepts the cut out may have imperfections. SSS Will stand behind the workmanship of the installation for ONE year. Should a problem arise that is caused directly from the installation process, please contact us immediately and we will correct the issue to the best possible outcome. The customer understands that there is no warranty available for the Granite/Natural Stone itself. Granite and quartz are natural product and may contain imperfections, which include pores, cracks, fissures and inconsistencies in color, shade, pattern and texture. Granite countertops or Stone backsplash may not always be sealed before or during installation. It is the client’s responsibility to seal granite/tile regularly. Customer is aware that granite may have visible seams in edge and/or top surface. SSS checks and uses the best quality slabs available. Granite seams are generally slightly visible, Top surface may have several seams due to limitation product. Customer accepts seam placement determined by installer. Final balance is due upon countertop completion. A check may be given to the installers or client is to have a credit card on file, unless other arrangements have been made directly with SSS. If balance due is not paid upon job completion client acknowledges and accepts A lien may be filed on home/business. Customer has 48 HOURS to thoroughly inspect material for any concerns. After 3 days client will be charged a trip charge for any repairs (unless covered under warranty) Customer is aware that some granite may emit radon gas, which is known to cause health problems including cancer. Customer agrees that SSS cannot be held responsible for any health problem that may occur in the future.
